ANNA N SCHLEGEL is Vice President of the Global Portfolio-to-Market Lifecycle at NetApp, and has led globalization, product life cycle, and content strategy teams at companies like VMware, VeriSign, Cisco and Xerox. Anna has also been the CEO and General Manager of two Bay Area globalization agencies. Her work has been published on Forbes.com, Fortune.com, Gala-global.org, Multilingual.com, and other research industry forums. Anna is a respected leader in the globalization community. She is the co-founder of Women in Localization (W.L.), a worldwide non-profit with 4500 members. In 2018, Anna was awarded the GALA Language Person of the Year, and was named a Silicon Valley Woman of Influence. She is also the founder of Imagine Educating Everyone, a Kenyan based non-profit, and the Global Executive Sponsor of Women in Technology (WIT) at NetApp. She currently serves as a Board Member for the 2020 STEMentors of Silicon Valley. Anna frequently delivers lectures, webinars, keynotes and round tables at universities, companies, and nonprofits all over the world. She lives with her family in Santa Clara, California. |
